Why Kauri HealthCare?
 
The mature Kauri stands tall. In its canopy it is home to a ‘community’ of plants and animal life. It can best stand tall when it is part of a healthy forest. 

For us, we want our Health Centre to stand tall in providing an excellent service that we can be proud of, supporting our community of patients. We know that we will do this better if we don’t try to stand alone but as an Integrated Health Centre we are part of the ‘forest’ of supporting health and community services. 

For you, we see your health as the Kauri, aiming to stand tall. Health in all its aspects needs that ‘forest’ of whānau and community, and we want to be part of that forest for you.

ManageMyHealth no longer works at our centre.

Passwords must be eight characters long, include at least one letter, two numbers and you cannot include your first, middle or last name.
 
We are no longer taking new patients

Kauri HealthCare has unfortunately had to close enrolments for new patients due to a severe shortage of general practitioners and nurse practitioners. 

The Midcentral region has the lowest numbers of general practitioners per head of population in New Zealand and many intend to retire in the next 5 years.

We continue to advertise for staff to fill these vacancies. We continue to endeavour to provide high quality care to our enrolled population and ask that patients plan routine appointments ahead so that we can keep some availability for emergencies and urgent appointments. We have a highly skilled nursing team supporting our practitioners in providing care to our community.
