About Us
Kauri HealthCare is an Integrated Family Health Centre situated in Palmerston North.
With 21,500 patients, no two days are the same with a large variety of acute, routine and proactive care required for our population. We are a high performing Health Care Home practice, and are continuously innovating to improve the way we deliver care to support our patients. As a GP in our team you will be well supported by our excellent team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and administrators.
In order to support the growth in our population and replace a retiring GP, we're looking for a GP to join our team on a permanent contract for 6-10 sessions per week.
We have a team of 15 GPs and are part of a multidisciplinary facility - including Pharmacy, Long Term Conditions management, Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Skin Clinic, Hearing, Mental Health and Gastroenterology. There is on site collaboration with District Nursing, Health of the Older Person service and several other Midcentral services.
We encourage Doctors with special interests to utilise their skills in a family friendly teaching practice with Cornerstone accreditation.
